Public Access and Open Access: Policy Requirements, Publishing Decisions, and Support Resources In-Person
Funding agencies’ public access policies and publishers’ open access policies are changing how researchers share their work. This workshop will provide an overview of current public access requirements, explain the differences between public access and open access, and highlight key considerations when deciding where and how to publish. Participants will also learn about resources and library support available to help them comply with funder policies, evaluate open access options, and make decisions about publishing their research.
