Introduction to Omeka.net In-Person

This hands-on workshop offers a beginner-friendly introduction to Omeka, a free, open-source web publishing platform ideal for creating digital collections and exhibits. Designed for educators, librarians, students, and researchers, this session will guide participants through the process of building a digital exhibit from scratch using Omeka Classic. Participants will learn how to: -Understand the structure and purpose of Omeka -Create and manage content -Organize content into collections and exhibits -Upload media (images, audio, documents) -Use themes and plugins to customize their site -Explore real-world examples of digital projects built with Omeka Registration required. No experience necessary. Free and open to the public.
