Tableau for Beginners: A 4-Session Hands-On Series (License Included) In-Person
Ice Storm Update: Workshops will now start on February 10th and continue on February 17th, February 24th, and March 3rd.
Tableau is an easy-to-use click, drag, and drop interactive data visualization software. In this hands-on workshop series, participants will be introduced to some of the basic and more advanced features of Tableau.
The series will be organized into four sessions covering the following topics:

Session 1: Getting Started with Tableau

Session 2: Basics of Creating Visualizations with Tableau

Session 3: Basics of Creating Maps with Tableau

Session 4: Tableau Analysis Features
No prior experience necessary. Free and open to the anyone. Registration required.
A sample data set will be provided. Detailed instructions will be sent to participants in advance of the first session.
Tableau Desktop (Paid Version) licenses will be provided to participants for free. Each license will remain active throughout the semester and will expire on June 30, 2026.
