Tableau for Beginners (5-Part Series) In-Person

Tableau is an easy-to-use click, drag, and drop interactive data visualization software. In this hands-on workshop series, participants will be introduced to some of the basic and more advanced features of Tableau.

The series will be organized into five sessions covering the following topics:

Session 1: Getting Started with Tableau
Session 2: Basics of Creating Visualizations with Tableau
Session 3: Basics of Creating Maps with Tableau
Session 4: Tableau Analysis Features
Session 5: Creating Custom Visualizations with Tableau

Registration required.

A sample data set will be provided. Detailed instructions will be sent to participants in advance of the first session.

No experience necessary.

Free and open to the public.

Tableau Desktop (Paid Version) licenses will be provided to participants for free. Each license will remain active throughout the semester and will expire on December 31, 2025.
