Python Intermediate Series
The Python Intermediate Series is a four-week, in-person series designed for individuals with basic knowledge of Python who are ready to enhance their programming skills. This workshop series will utilize Google Colab, a platform very similar to Jupyter Notebook.
If you are not familiar with Google Colab, I highly recommend attending the "Introduction to Google Colab for Python Programming" workshop, which will be held on January 28th. You can find more details and register for the workshop here: https://calendar.lib.olemiss.edu/event/14042028
Workshops will be held every Thursday from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM in Library 106D Classroom, located on the first floor of the J.D. Williams Library. The series begins on March 20th, but there will be no session on April 3rd due to the instructor attending a conference. The schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, March 20
- Thursday, March 27
- Thursday, April 10
- Thursday, April 17
Anyone who are available to attend all four sessions will be given first priority for registration. Each session builds on the previous one, so attendance at all four sessions is required to participate.
If you have no prior experience with Python, I highly recommend enrolling in the Python Beginner Series, which will take place before the Intermediate Session begins.
