Text Data Analysis for Beginners using Python and Kaggle Dataset
Text Data Analysis for Beginners using Python and Kaggle Dataset
In this hands-on workshop series, you will learn the fundamentals of text data analysis using Python (via Google Colab). We will start with exploratory data analysis (EDA) and then progress to building a machine learning model to classify SMS messages as either spam or legitimate (ham) using a Kaggle dataset. Each session will guide you step-by-step through the process, providing an introduction to text analysis techniques.
To fully engage, please bring your own laptop with internet access. While basic Python knowledge is recommended, beginners are welcome to join and learn how to perform text data analysis from the ground up.
