Creating Maps with R

Creating Maps with R

Learn how to create a basic choropleth map using RStudio. Choropleth maps are a powerful visualization tool that communicates numerical data across a geographic location. This types of map is often used to display political, public health, economic, educational, and other socio-demographic variables.

This hands-on workshop requires a basic familiarity with R if participants want to follow along. Participants are also welcome to attend if they are not familiar with R but would like to see how these maps are created.
