Navigating the Landscape of Academic Publishing
This workshop will explore academic publishing, with a particular focus on author rights and publishing agreements for journal articles. In this workshop, we will:
1) Discuss the differences between traditional publishing and open access publishing, especially how those two models could affect the rights to your work.
2) Review Creative Commons licensing, which is commonly applied to articles published open access
3) Review publishing agreements from several publishers
