From Shakespeare’s London to Faulkner’s Oxford: The Unlikely Journey of Edwin Booth’s Second Folio
Please join the Department of Archives & Special Collections as we celebrate the 400th anniversary of the printing of William Shakespeare’s First Folio. The University’s copy of Shakespeare’s Second Folio (published only nine years later) will be on display all day. At 11:00am,Theatre Arts Professor Emerita Rhona Justice-Malloy will tell the tale of how the University of Mississippi acquired the Second Folio, owned by actor Edwin Booth.
