Archives & Special Collections Recipe Swap Open House

A selection of 50+ cookbooks and manuscript recipes in the archives dating from the 18th through the 21st centuries will be available to browse. Photograph recipes which capture your interest and test them out at home!
Although not necessary, we invite you to bring and donate the following:
- A copy of your own favorite family recipe(s) along with a brief written account of memories related to the recipe and its particular significance to your family.
- Old cookbooks related to Mississippi and the South
When you are not browsing recipes, explore “The Southern Plate: An Archival Exhibition on Food”!
