Microsoft Excel Workshop Series - Basics
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program used to organize data . This session will introduce attendees to basic features, including:
- Common terminology (e.g., worksheet, workbook, cell, formula)
- Menu bars
- Data input
- Inserting new rows and columns
- Moving data (e.g., copying and pasting rows/columns)
- Formulas (e.g., common mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplcation, and division)
- Cell references (i.e., location of the data on the spreadsheet)
- Cell formatting
- Sorting data
You are not required to attend other sessions in the Microsoft Workshop Series.
